Configure an Existing Project
How to Reconfigure A Project
You can reconfigure a SonarWiz project after it has been created. However, there are limitations explained below.
To reconfigure a SonarWiz project:
Click the Project Settings “Dog Bone” icon
This will open the Configure an Existing Project dialog
Modify the Coordinate Source, Time Constant for Course Smoothing and Coordinate System as needed.
Limitations to Project Modifications:
There are several important limitations to reconfiguring a project:
You cannot change a Project Name.
You cannot change a Project Location while the program is open.
Changes to the Coordinate Source are not retroactive. The data must be re-imported to change from fish to ship position.
Changes to the Time Constant for Course Smoothing are not retroactive. However, you can easily change this value after import.
Changes to the Project Coordinate System may be retroactive to existing data according to the following table:
