Transfer Custom Coordinate Systems Between SonarWiz Versions 7.10.0 and Newer

Custom coordinate systems can be transferred between SonarWiz installations by sharing special GML files created for this purpose.

If you have requested a coordinate system from CTI Technical Support, we will provide you with a file to use the new system. Skip down to the section on Importing a Custom Coordinate System from disk.

To Export a Custom Coordinate System to disk:

Open the Project Properties dialog
Select Browse Coordinate Systems… button
Select the Custom tab
Select the Custom Coordinate System you want to export from the CRS List drop down.
Click the Export button and save the coordinate system to disk.

To Import a Custom Coordinate System from disk

Open the Project Properties dialog
Select Browse Coordinate Systems… button
Select the Custom tab
Click the New button
Click the Import button.
Select the GML file you want to import
Edit the WKT if necessary.
Click SAVE.
