Open a Service Request ticket with Customer Support and attach the completed form.

Notes on Completing the Coordinate System Request Form

Coordinate System Section

Please provide the name and EPSG code (if possible) of the coordinate system you are requesting CTI staff to create.

Ellipsoid Section

In most cases, we will use one of the ellipsoids provided in the geodetic database. However, if you can provide the EPSG code and major and minor axis values we can verify that the selected ellipsoid matches your request exactly.

Datum Section

All datum in SonarWiz are defined against WGS84 as the base. We will need the transformation parameters from WGS84 to the new Datum. SonarWiz supports several transformation techniques including 3-parameter, 4-parameter and 7-parameter shifts (the most common). Please specify the transformation technique and fill in the required parameters with units.

Map Projection

SonarWiz supports hundreds of map projections. For common projections the name and EPSG code are sufficient for us to pick the correct settings. However, if you are using a customized map projection with no EPSG code, please provide as much information as possible about the name and parameters of the projection you want to generate.
