SonarWiz cannot start because MFReadWrite.dll is missing from your computer

Problem

On some versions of Windows you may encounter the following error message when you first launch SonarWiz:

This is an indication that you need to install the Windows Server Essentials Media Pack to use SonarWiz.

Solution

To install Windows Server Essentials Media Pack:

1. Navigate to Microsoft’s Windows Server Essentials Media Pack for your platform:

   1. Windows 10: Download Windows 10 Media Feature Pack

   2. Windows Server 2012 R2: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40837

2. Download and install the Media Pack according to the instructions found on that page.

3. After successfully installing the media pack, re-launch SonarWiz.
